Hola todos!
I decided this weekend I wanted to cover a classic track – I loved going clubbing in the 90s and pretty much cut my teeth to some of the amazing vocalists on the releases that were out then. This was one of my favorites, ‘Nakasaki (I Need A Lover)’ by Ken Doh and I thought you might be interested in seeing some of the recording process.
I don’t use autotune, just put a little reverb in my ears while recording. Check out the two videos below; the first is the raw vocal, the second is what I could hear while recording. No mixing has been done yet and the instrumental will be much fuller when I’m finished.
🙂
Paying homage. No makeup or hairbrush, that’s how I roll on Sunday 👯💃🏽😊🎤💋 #recording #vox #vocals #coverversion #classichouse #ninetieshouse pic.twitter.com/pjfp33A5oM
